Resources & Tools
Nearly all of the software for Party Print runs in a web browser
To create and manage events, you use the Party Print Planner Website. When guests attend and event, they scan a QR code to go to the guest website for that event on their phones.
However, there are a couple of important items that allow your events to run and that can make them more successful. This page provides access to those tools as well as some short videos to help you use these tools.
We will add and update this information regularly; please check back here for new information and helpful tools!

Create a Print Node with your DNP printer
Party Print is a service for DNP photo printer owners. To run an event in Party Print, you must have created a “print node” at some point before the event, even if you choose not to use a printer at that event.
If you do not wish to use a PC at your events, you can purchase a WCM Pro wireless connect module from a DNP authorized reseller. The list price of the WCM Plus is $199.00.
The most common setup is a Windows PC or laptop that is running the free Party Print print controller software from DNP and is connected to a DNP printer. To download this software, just click here.
Custom Graphics Templates – Amplify your event theme
Print overlays (borders)
You can upload custom designs that lay on top of the guests’ photos when they are printed. This can be a rectangular border, a logo in the bottom corner or virtually any other graphic.
Pinned graphics
The person running the event using the Party Print “planner” web app (website) can “pin” any photo that is in the event photo stream to the top of the stream, so that all other images are displayed after the pinned image. This allows them to create a custom image that has branding graphics and directions on how to use the Party Print guest app, then ensure that it is constantly seen.
Splash graphics
The person running the event can upload a custom graphic that appears full screen on the guests’ phones when the guest app first starts. This reinforces branding/theming and gives a feeling that the guest is in the right place.
Templates for Event Signage – Tell guests that Party Print is here!
The more aware guests are that Party Print is available at an event, the more they will use the system. This is especially true with a new product like Party Print – people won’t always “get it” at first.
The Party Print planner portal lets you print 4×6 “guest cards” that give guests the unique QR code for each event and easy steps to use the system. Print many of these and put them around the venue or hand them out to guests.
